Blargh its been a while....

Wow, my journal has been pretty lonely. *pat pat* I'm sorry Journal.
I am no longer on vacation.... haha

I'm in school again. University yay! I'm in a studio art course too, so maybe I'll post some of what I do there. It will be really different from what I've previously submitted here. I have a feeling that my professor is not a very big fan of anime... or cartoons in general. :(
I'll continue doing what I'm doing in my spare time though. I promise! I have a lot of work to do before next July. I'll hopefully be doing Artist's Alley at a brand new convention in my home town. I'm just waiting for registration to open. *sigh*
I'll have buttons and prints. yay!

And my sub ran out in August. I'll renew it soon. :) Just gotta get some money. School is expensive... DAMN... lol

Hey Amanda! Ok i have a question. My mom was asking me what i wanted for xmas today, and i told her i wanted a digital painting type software thingie, like for colouring drawings, but i dont know what to get. What kind do you use?

hey! :) I use photoshop CS2, but its crazy expensive. Like.... ridiculously expensive. There are other ones out there that are cheaper.
I got Corel Painter with my tablet when i bought it. There might be some sort of bundle available if you don't have a tablet yet. Wacom is usually the best when it comes to tablets.
Try looking them up and seeing if any of their tablets come with a program.

yeah i dunno if i would be getting a tablet too though..... ive heard some good things about corel painter - and yeah, i looked through the photoshop programs that were at futureshop and it was like, 100 - 200 bucks, so yeah, if im gonns get the begging train going, i may as well go for the cheaper one! thanks :)

those photoshops were just the Expansions and Upgrades probably, because the base program is closer to $1000 for the full version. Its crazy. Luckily my school had it and my teacher allowed me to install it for a competition a few years ago. :P I was lucky to cheat the system. lol
